Ione Minerals mines specialty kaolins from five different mine sites. All of the mine sites are under a long-term lease on the Arroyo Seco Ranch, and are within eight miles of our processing facility. The Ranch covers 21,000 acres.

With sufficient proven reserves, Ione Minerals expects to be supplying clay to its customers for decades to come.

Our kaolin clays are selectively mined and stockpiled. The stockpiles are then tested and blended to meet specific product requirements. These clays are then solar dried and stored in covered sheds for processing.
